2019 Tax Planning Checklist

Tax season has for many become synonymous with stress but preparing now can ease some of that stress.

Tax season is in full swing as companies and employers are required by the end of January to provide you with the appropriate forms to file your tax returns.

As a fan of making checklists to stay organized, I created the Gather Your Tax Forms Checklist for you to stay on top of things this tax season and onward.

Use this list as a guide to make sure you have received all your tax forms from contractors, financial institutions, employers, and other entities you received income from or made payments.

THE BOTTOM LINE:

As I often emphasize to all my clients, it’s important to coordinate a conversation between you, your professional tax adviser, and financial planner. This way, all parties are on the same page to make sure all strategies are considered to reduce your tax liability as much as possible and to effectively plan for your financial goals.

I am here to help you; so don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or schedule a time to meet with me to discuss your financial plan for this year.
